This whole post could be quite concisely summarized into two monosyllabic words (but when have I ever been known to be concise?) I passed. My oral comprehensive exams, that is. Two grueling hours of sweaty palms and and a major case of stage fright later, the five minute deliberation time afterwords seemed almost longer than eternity. But in the end, I received a congratulatory handshake and an "unofficial" commendation for my performance. So for those of you who have been wishing me luck and keeping me in your thoughts, this one goes out to you... Thank you!
